Tides of Seagirt is a scenic hour drive from Victoria, BC.
A scenic one-hour drive through a temperate rainforest will bring you to Tides of Seagirt in East Sooke on southern Vancouver Island. You will fall in love with the year-round mild climate and rural splendor in one of the most beautiful areas of the world.
Our Greater Victoria waterfront rental suite accommodation and salmon fishing charters are located near East Sooke Park with its coastal hiking trails. We provide year-round spring or winter King salmon fishing and sight-seeing charters minutes from the Juan de Fuca Strait.
From your guest suite you will observe varied and prolific bird and marine life such as Bald Eagles, Blue Herons, Seals and River Otters. Our location, walk-on beach and wharf is ideal for kayaking or canoeing on the sheltered waters of Sooke Harbor and Basin.
Map & Driving Directions
- Take Hwy 1 West to Exit 14 South (Veterans Memorial Parkway)
- Turn right onto Hwy 14 (Sooke Road) and follow Hwy 14 to Gillespie Road (just after 17 Mile Pub)
- Turn left onto Gillespie Road and drive to the end of the road - you come to a T
- Turn right onto East Sooke Road and drive until you reach Seagirt Road (after Timber Doodle and Llanilar)
- Turn right onto Seagirt Road and follow until you see the Tides of Seagirt sign
